5. Directions for Use
Add AfroECO Fabric Softener to your washing machine’s designated compartment or directly during the rinse cycle. For handwashing, dilute a small capful in water, soak clothes briefly, and rinse lightly. Use 10 ml for every kilogram of laundry. Pour the softener directly into the fabric softener dispenser compartment of your washing machine. If possible, hang your clothes on a washing line to dry. This is eco-friendly, saves electricity, and makes your scent last longer.

I have now used this product for a month. I have mostly used fa ric softener in the past simply because it add to the fragrance of the laundry. However I have never really seen the effects of softener or felt it on the clothing. That is till now. I can honestly say that this product not only leaves my clothes smelling amazing, but also softens it beautifully. I am a sucker for a lovely scent, and this hits the spot. I also used to use vinegar when washing my towels instead of softener since it’s not really advised to use softener when washing towels… I couldn’t help but give it a try, and I am pleased to say that it works so well EVEN ON TOWELS…
Lastly I use one cap full of softener, 1part water and 1 part rubbing alcohol/fragrance ethanol in a spray bottle and I make my own fabric freshener, which I spray on my linen, mattresses, couches…leaving my whole home smelling fresh and clean. If my husband stands still long enough, I will spray him too. The ethanol/alcohol is optional, I like to use it then it evaporates quicker, but just the softener and water will also do the trick. It’s just a light spray, not necessary to saturate the fabric.
