Bio-Enzyme Fat Trap Treatment for Commercial Kitchens
AfroECO Fat Trap Doctor is an advanced bacterial and microbial fat trap treatment made for grease traps, fat traps and drain lines. It uses beneficial bacteria and enzymes to help digest fats, oils, grease, proteins and starches commonly found in food-service waste systems.
With regular use, AfroECO Fat Trap Doctor helps reduce grease build-up, control unpleasant odours, and support the smooth running of fat traps and drainage systems.
Why Fat Trap Treatment Matters
Grease, fats and oils can quickly build up inside fat traps and drain lines. When this build-up cools, it can become thick and solid, making it harder for waste water to flow properly.
This can lead to bad smells, blockages, expensive cleaning, and pressure on sewer systems.
AfroECO Fat Trap Doctor works as a reliable fat trap treatment by helping break down grease waste naturally, instead of simply moving the problem further down the drain.

How to Use
For best results, dose grease traps after operating hours or at kitchen closing time. This helps reduce dilution from constant water flow and gives the bacteria better conditions to work.
Recommended dosing:
- Trap size up to 50L: Use 833ml daily of AfroECO Fat Trap Doctor RTU
- Trap size up to 2000L: Use 833ml daily of AfroECO Fat Trap Doctor 5X
- Trap size above 2000L: Use 833ml daily of AfroECO Fat Trap Doctor 10X
For automated dosing systems, set dosing for after-hours use when the fat trap is cooler.
